On Friday, January 19, thirteen members of the club convened at the Peosta Community Center and proceeded to quietly make some noise by assisting with fund-raising efforts at the Paradise in Peosta party.
The Dubuque Phlockers would like to thank (from Fin Left to Fin Right) Al Ronek, Nancy Ronek, Laura Schauer, Ladd Nelson, Jason Reicher, Kim Maiers, Bob Noel, Gina Noel, Jeff Sanderfield, Chris Sanderfield, Ron Markus, Barb Markus and Tom White (not pictured) for contributing their time and resources to this successful project!

At the end of the evening, our group cleared over $250 from our own merchandising and fund-raising efforts and the bulk of these proceeds have been ear-marked for the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Our volunteer duties were diverse and very rewarding and included event setup and tear-down, raffle and popcorn sales, and assisting with participant contests.

An additional perk was the acceptance of two new family memberships to our club and even a shirt sale to a community police officer who was assisting with traffic control...
