2008 Make-A-Wish Grand Gala

On Saturday February 9, 2008, eight members of the Dubuque Phlockers left their flip-flops and Hawaiian shirts at home and instead "dressed to the 9's" for the local Dubuque chapter of the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Iowa.

Throughout the evening, members of the phlock assisted with duties including coat check-in/check-out, raffle ticket sales, a wine pull, and the monitoring of those participating in the silent and live auctions.

The generosity and excitement of the evening was evident as an estimated $64,000 was raised to help provide children in the Make-A-Wish program realize dreams and desires in their time of need.
