Have a ton of fun as we set out to raise funds for Camp Albrecht Acres! On top of that, the Dubuque Phlockers are also celebrating 4 years old on July 6, 2010!

On May 1, 2010, the Dubuque Phlockers will be hosting our annual fundraiser at the Grand River Center located on the bank of the Mississippi River in Dubuque starting at 6:00 pm. This year there will be silent auctions, raffle items, food, drinks and much more.
The Dubuque Phlockers are excited to have the Cedar Island Band headlining the event again this year. We are very thankful for our sponsors and all who donated last year in making this event an annual "Party with a Purpose."
The Fun:
We're getting all the details together for all of the fun and here's what can be expected:
- a pre-party with lots of great food and drink to get us warmed up
- Live tropical-style music featuring the Cedar Island Band
- plenty of silent auction and raffle items to go around
- for those of you still standing, perhaps even a post-party when it's all said and done

A Little Background on the Dubuque Phlockers:
Founded in 2006, the Dubuque Phlockers are a group of individuals that have one thing in common, we all enjoy listening to Jimmy Buffett. Our primary purpose is to perform charity fund-raising and community service work in and around the Dubuque area and have fun while doing so. In other words, to "party with a purpose" in an effort to make our community just a little better than we found it.
In 2009, the Dubuque Phlockers donated $8000 dollars to Make-A-Wish of Iowa as a direct result of the contributions and local support we received last year. This year, we setting out to help "spread the love" and continue to give back to our local community.
