Meeting Minutes – May 24, 2007

The Yardarm

Meeting Called to Order at 7:00 p.m.

Ladd Nelson, Bob Noel, Gina Noel, Chris Sanderfield, Ron Markus, Barb Markus, Laura Schauer

Old Business

  1. One Particular Harbour:
    • Laura wrote to Dick McGrain(sp?) asking how PSA can be done. Tom Brenner will get back to Laura as to how we prefer to do this (whether it be on air interview or just an announcement).
    • Ladd spoke with A-OK limo/cab. Good with using their name. They will make 1 run from both hotels to the American Lady. Later they will make runs to take people back to the hotels from the YardArm.
    • Must have a pass/coupon to get onto the shuttle.
    • Some of the items are in for the raffle/silent auction. Need to get the cost list of each item so that we know how much for raffle/silent auction.
    • We may split our budget at Kirchhoff between this event and the next one.
    • The American Lady has put together a preliminary marketing promo called “5 o'clock Somewhere”.
    • Bob will get emails out to members for working shifts for OPH.
    • Jeff will figure out a safe way to secure money during the event as well as at night’s end.
    • List of businesses to contact for donations has been assembled. Ron will post this list on Yahoo.
    • Need to print passes or coupons for OPH for entering the American Lady and YardArm.
    • Discussed gifts for people (i.e. cards, cozies, leis).

Motion by Ladd, second by Ron to adjourn. Motion passed 7-0. Meeting adjourned at 8:04pm
