Meeting Minutes – April 16, 2009

Meeting called to order at 6:37 p.m.

Old Business

Discussion centered on finalizing plans for OPH 2009.

  1. All gold, platinum, and corporate sponsor information needs to be to Ron before Friday noon so he can get the information to the printers.
  2. Designs for the name badges were shown and accepted.
  3. Timeline for the day of the event was discussed. Set up will start at 9:00 am, hospitality suite will start at 2pm, doors open at 6, cleanup and tear down at 12:45 am.
  4. A sign up sheet will be on the web page for members to volunteer for shifts to work the various stations. Two hour shifts. Also discussed duties for the non Phlocker volunteers.
  5. A sign up sheet was passed around for the hospitality suite and who wants to bring what. The club will provide a main dish. Jody and Christy will decorate the suite, $50 budget.
  6. Games and auctions were discussed. What games to play during the band breaks? A run through of the closing process for the silent auctions. A receipt will be produced for each item with the final bid amount recorded. 50/50 raffles will be run throughout the night.
  7. Bob Noel will set up a spot on the morning radio shows and will let Ron/Ladd/Von know depending who is available to attend them.
  8. Barb will set a date on basket assembly.

New Business

  1. The May Social will be held at the Yard Arm. May 14, 7:00 p.m.
  2. New logo/new shirts. Ron will be placng an order for shirts. If you are interested please contact Ron.
