Meeting Minutes – January 21, 2010

Spirits Bar and Grill

Meeting called to order at 6:33 p.m.

Barb Markus, Ron Markus, Christy Kies, Laura Schauer, Mike Bradley, Jody Bradley, Al Ronek, Von Fulenwider, Janice Fulenwider, Kim Maiers, Ladd Nelson, Jan Troy, Mike Bigelow, Ellen Bigelow, Jessica Oberbroeckling, Jamie Smith, Steve Cavanaugh, Rif Sufi

Old Business

1. Club taxes have been filed.
2. Ron will complete and submit the membership renewal with PHIP.
3. Logins and passwords to vital accounts, websites, etc, will be shared between two members, (President and Technical Director/Secretary) in the event a tragedy occurs the information is accessible.
4. Treasurer reports the current balance in the checking account is $4251 (after deductions).
5. Discussion on making a club donation to Haiti Relief and a smaller donation to Maria House. Ladd Nelson made a motion for the club to donate $500 to the Haiti Earthquake Relief and $250 to the Maria House. Mike Bigelow seconded. All were in favor, motion passes.
6. Mary from Make a Wish stopped to go over the details for the Gala coming up on Feb 6.

New Business (OPH 2010)

1. First committee meeting was held in December.
2. Created a list of sub-committees with various duties listed for volunteers to sign up.
3. Created sponsor levels of $1000, $500, $400, and $150
4. Discussion on choosing canvas totebags to give away instead of t-shirts. Ron Markus made a motion to get silkscreen canvas tote bags. Mike Bradley seconded, everyone in favor, Motion passes.
5. Discussion on merchandise to restock to sell at OPH.
6. Next OPH Committee meeting will be January 27 at 630 at Spirits Bar.

Next business meeting will be Thursday February 4th at Spirits Bar.

Next Social will be on Fat Tuesday, February 16 at Jumpers Bar in Plaza 20. Al Ronek will be playing will the Mississippi Band from 6pm to 10pm.
