Meeting Minutes – June 15, 2010

Meeting called to order at 6:05 p.m.

Mike Bradley, Jody Bradley, Laura Schauer, Christy Kies, Kim Maiers, Cindy Tucker, Mike Bigelow, Ellen Bigelow, Ladd Nelson, Al Ronek, Nancy Ronek, Jamie Smith

Old Business

1. No old business was discussed.

New Business

1. Board of Director Nominees - The following individuals were nominated for Board positions with voting to take place in July:
   • President - Ron Markus - Ron has declined this. Ladd Nelson has subsequently announced his candicacy.
   • Vice President - Jamie Smith, Ladd Nelson. Ladd has declined this.
   • Treasurer - Jan Troy. Jan has declined this.
   • Secretary - Mike Bradley
   • Co-Secretary - Janet Bries, Cindy Tucker
   • Membership Director - Jody Bradley
   • Social Director - Kim Maiers
   • Outreach Director - Christy Kies
   • Technology Director - Ladd Nelson
   These are nominations at this time. Mike or Ron will send out an additional email to all membership requesting anyone interested in a position to let them know. Voting will take place at the July business meeting. July 15th at Spirits Bar and Grill.
2. The July Social will be a Outreach for the Humane Society. It is scheduled on July 1st at the Yard Arm. Kim and Jody will tie up the details and send out an email announcing the event.
3. Ellen Bigelow presented a letter from Prudential announcing she and the club would be receiving $250 for volunteer services. Ellen will present the check when she receives it.
4. Discussion on what the details were for receiving the concert tickets. Ron should be receiving them within the week and will notify those that are going.
5. Ladd announced the winner of the Treasure Hunt on the web site was Jamie Smith. He presented her with the prizes.
